Company now accepting entries through September 15th for its 4th annual architects design competition

San Diego, CA – (July 14, 2020) –LaCantina Doors (LaCantina) has teamed up with Architizer in a nationwide search for amazing architects and designers whose work represents the Best of LaCantina. The companies invite all architects and designers to share their work with colleagues and peers around the world in the fourth annual 2020 Best of LaCantina Contest. The design competition recognizes architectural excellence, creativity and innovation for the best use of LaCantina’s lifestyle changing open space products and solutions. Home to the largest community of architects online, Architizer inspires them through innovative content, awards programs, and global reach spotlighting the world’s best architecture.

Open to residential and commercial architects, interior designers and interior architects, home builders and developers, the competition aims to showcase the best of contemporary design and celebrate the distinctive ways designers have used LaCantina’s products in their projects. 

LaCantina's high-quality and aesthetically versatile products allow designers to elegantly blur the division between indoor and outdoor, completely transforming and creating large open living and entertaining spaces.

Entries may be submitted now through September 15, 2020 to be eligible for the competiton. LaCantina will announce the winners on October 20, 2020. The winning design will receive a grand prize of a trip for (2) to their choice of events/destinations in 2021 – NYCxDESIGN, AIA Conference on Architecture or NYC’s Archtober.  Winners will also be featured on LaCantinaDoors.com as well as Architizer.com.

Best of LaCantina 2020 contest finalists will be determined by LaCantina Doors for the following categories: Best in Show, Best Commercial, Best Rural Residential, Best Urban Residential, Best Suburban Residential, Best Compact, Best Renovation and Most Innovative. We are excited to welcome guest jurors Raili Clasen of RailiCA Interior Design, LaCantina VP and General Manager Lee Maughan, Paul Keskeys of Architizer, and Best of LaCantina 2019 winner Al Tozer of Tozer Designs who will assist in selecting the winners.
