LaCantina Multi Slide doors with minimal frames and expansive panels of glass create a breezeway at the heart of the home. The concrete floors and touches of warm wood with matte black contrast allow visitors to focus on the beauty of the outdoors without taking away from the view.

Drawing inspiration from southern traditions, this dog-trot style home features a breezeway in the middle of the first floor to allow fresh air to flow seamlessly through the property. LaCantina Multi Slide Aluminum Thermally Controlled doors in the breezeway, combined with the east-west axis that the home is built on, maximize the energy efficiency of the entire residence.

This two-story home is finished with vertical planks, matte black details, and black frames to create a residential modern masterpiece. From various window shapes and sizes to the sharp, clean lines of the entire home, the Balakrishnan Residence pushes the boundaries of what residential spaces can be.

LaCantina Multi Slide Aluminum Thermally Controlled door systems are used on either side of the living room to create an open breezeway that’s aesthetically pleasing even when the doors are closed. These doors were chosen because of their thin frames, thermal performance, and ease of operation. The expansive panes of glass with narrow frames allow the view to expand beyond the walls of the property through to the other side.
