For the past several months, we’ve been searching to find The Best of LaCantina, and we’re thrilled with what we’ve discovered. Doors are a vital part to any home, restaurant, office, or school building and they often set the tone for what to expect on the other side. LaCantina delivers high quality and innovation with every single one of our open space products and we were ecstatic to see how well they translated into different architectural styles and designs.

The overall winner for the 2017 Best of LaCantina design competition is:

Best in Show: The Foust Residence by Chrissie Beavis of CB Designs

The Foust Residence was chosen for its innovative use of numerous LaCantina systems including a perfectly matching door package of a zero-post folding door, 3- and 6- panel folding doors, 3-panel folding windows, and 8 ft. single-hinged doors.

This home, located in Newport Beach, California, is filled with natural light throughout the day and opens the living space for a seamless transition from the living room to the waterfront.

The upstairs bedroom features LaCantina’s Folding Door System and a Swing Door that opens to the wood deck and hot tub.

LaCantina’s Folding Window System matches perfectly with the LaCantina Door Systems for a cohesive aesthetic seen throughout the home.

LaCantina’s Zero Post Systems combines two door Folding Door Systems without the need of a supporting wall or post in the kitchen for a truly unique application.
