Every year the Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Portland partners with the NW Natural Gas to host a luxury show of homes during the month of August. Featuring the area’s best custom homebuilders and designers the 2015 Street of Dreams selected LaCantina’s Folding and Multi Slide systems for three new homes built in Lake Oswego’s Hillside neighborhood.
The Highland Couture
Blending the old and new, Pahlish Homes and interior designer, Carin Atterbury teamed up to prove that couture isn’t what you wear, but where you live. Filled with highly intricate millwork and paneled walls, the luxury is all in the details.
Built with indoor outdoor living in mind, LaCantina’s five panel Aluminum Thermally Controlled folding system opens the living room to a covered entertaining space complete with a fireplace and custom built-in outdoor kitchen.
The Sandhill Crane
Westlake Development Group and Mike Blondino interior design successfully blended a mix of materials in this sleek contemporary home. The oversized windows and LaCantina's folding glass door system allow for ample natural light to pour into the grand open space floor plan.
Finished with modern furnishings the living room opens up to the backyard lounge area with LaCantina’s five panel Aluminum Wood folding system, perfect for entertaining.
The Mid-Century Evolution
Influenced by some of the iconic architectural designs of Wright, Eichler, and Rummer, this home embodies the warmth of the past with the innovation of today. With flat panel designs throughout for a clean aesthetic inspired by yesteryear, the home is modernized with today’s top of the line home automation systems and appliance controllers.
Stephens Homes and Barclay Home Designs evolved the mid-century design with a modern-day indoor outdoor living concept featuring LaCantina’s three panel Aluminum Wood multi slide pocketing system. The multi slide system maximizes space in a matter of seconds by neatly pocketing into the wall completely opening up the kitchen to an outdoor BBQ area.
